I spent the first eight years of my working career in the Comptrollers office at a commercial bank in New Haven. I left in 1974 as Vice President and Comptroller to join The Lee Company, a manufacturing company in Westbrook, Ct., as Secretary, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer. I retired from Lee Co. in 2005, although I continue to serve on the Lee Co. Board of Directors.
Since retirement, I have spent seven years as Treasurer of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Essex. I am currently Treasurer of both St. Johns and the Essex Library Association, and I serve on the investment committees of the Essex Land Trust, the Essex Library Association, the Essex Historical Society, and St. John’s Hayden Trust. I have served as chairman of three of these committees.
