Evening Light: A Journey through Compline & Evensong
March 13, 20, 27, April 3 & 10

Soup, Salad, & Bread — 5:30 p.m. in the Undercroft
Evening Light: A Journey Through Compline & Evensong — 6:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary

This Lent, step deeper into worship and fellowship! Join us every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Undercroft for a simple yet meaningful meal of soup, salad, and bread — a time to connect, reflect, and share in community. Bring a friend, make new ones, and nourish both body and soul.

Want to contribute? Sign-up sheets are available in the narthex to provide a dish for one of the evenings. If you’re bringing soup, please note the type of soup you plan to bring. For any questions or to help with dishes, please contact Meghan Wrinn at meghan@stjohnsessex.org.

After our meal, at 6:15 p.m., move to the sanctuary for a special Lenten service featuring a beautiful variety of music from guest musicians, musical friends, and our Choir Director and Organist, Anthony Pandolfe, Jr.
