Sunday, September 21 at 6:30-8:00 p.m.
St. John’s parishioner and accomplished folksinger Paul Loether will offer a special Fall Coffee House Concert on Sunday, September 21, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Known across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic as a “Pete Seeger-style” performer, Paul has delighted audiences for decades with his expressive vocals, masterful guitar work, and thoughtful, often humorous lyrics.
This intimate concert was originally offered as a private performance during last fall’s rummage sale, where a parishioner won the highest bid. Paul has graciously agreed to open the event to a limited number of guests. Marlene Going will be selling a select number of tickets after the services on Sunday, September 7 and 14 for $10 each (all donations will be donated to support Shoreline Soup Kitchen and Pantries) —don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy an evening of rich storytelling and song from one of St. John’s own.
