Summer Ecumenical Service
Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday on the Essex Town Green for our second annual Ecumenical Service! We were blessed to gather with 180 participants for a joyful and uplifting time of worship — sharing the Good News alongside friends, neighbors, and fellow congregations. A special thank you to the Occasional Jazz Ensemble, featuring familiar faces Scott Konrad, Phred Mileski, Darrell Jones, and musician friends.
We are so incredibly grateful for your generosity:
120 pounds of food and $864 were donated to The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries, Inc., helping to close the gap on food insecurity in our community.
Many of you stepped up to support our 26th Annual Backpack Ministry, filling backpacks for local children heading back to school this fall.
Thank you for being part of such a meaningful and impactful day. Your presence, gifts, and compassion make a real difference.
If you weren’t able to attend the ecumenical service, you can watch the full recording full service here.. Special thanks to Rev. Dave of First Congregational Church in Essex for capturing the service.
You can also enjoy these beautiful performances from the Occasional Jazz Ensemble, recorded during the service.
