There will be a light lunch and Introduction to the Pentateuch, the volume of The Saint John’s Bible containing the first five books of the Old Testament.
The Pentateuch, or Torah, in the Jewish tradition contains Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. These books are considered to be the foundation of Christianity because they include the stories of creation, guidelines for our practice, the story of the flood, and God’s covenant with Abraham. Please join us as we explore this beautiful book that is so important to our understanding of who we are.
